The Christmas Breakfast Project

Because kindness should be intentional, visible, and lasting.

This Christmas, Why Skip Kindness is honoring the legacy of Rufus W. Skipworth III — our father, a man whose extraordinary generosity and quiet acts of love inspired a lifelong movement of kindness.

Through the Christmas Breakfast Project, we’re extending that same spirit to families across Philadelphia, an effort to provide several local families with the essentials to enjoy a warm, Christmas morning meal together. While many programs focus on dinner, we want to ensure families wake up to comfort, nourishment, and a moment of joy, because kindness can start as early as breakfast.

How It Works

Families will be able to sign-up via a nomination form where they will select their breakfast items. Our team will make deliveries directly to their homes. Home address and phone number will be required.

Why Skip Coffee Day '25

Every year on September 12th, we honor our dad’s legacy by spreading intentional kindness one cup at a time. This year, we’re inviting YOU to join the ripple effect:

➡️ As you’re purchasing your coffee, pay it forward by buying a cup for someone else—
• Pay for the person behind you in line.
• Cover the order for the person in front of you.
• Surprise someone in the drive-thru.

• Take in a Box of Joe for the office.

• Send someone a virtual coffee gift card.

It’s a simple gesture, but I promise the ripple effect is exactly what this world needs.

And this year, we’re adding a little extra ☕✨—our “We Got Coffee at Home” Gift Basket Raffle! 🎁 One lucky winner will take home a Nespresso coffee machine and more coffee goodies. Scan the QR code to submit your entry until 9/12. Philadelphia residents only.

Let’s spread intentional kindness together, one cup at a time. 💕
